THE MOUND is a unique, multi-faceted paranormal romance thriller about a young couple who live through harrowing assaults on their bodies and senses. On their wedding day, the bride’s parents gift the couple with an abandoned, neglected, ram shackled, century-old house on a large plot of land. The house had a widespread reputation of being haunted. The bride’s parents once lived in the house and experienced many hauntings that soon made them flee to safety. Their wishes for the newly-married couple were that they not move in, but sell the land. However, the young couple decide to refurbish the house and live in it. One peculiar unsettling sight was a huge mound that rose high above a vast level wasteland owned by the state adjacent to their property. Shortly after moving in to their renovated house they would learn about the history of the eerie mound, and soon begin seeing ghosts in their house that don’t seem especially threatening at first. And then shock sets in when they become victims of sexual abuse and brutality wielded by a devil spirit. THE MOUND is a story that embodies the belief that love lives within us beyond death for infinity.
