A teenage Necromancer, J. Wallingford Bromide, has brought John Wilkes Booth back from the Hereafter. He has made a deal with Imam Ali-Kazam to set up a Caliphate in the Louisiana Delta. They intend to take over America. The Necromancer will also bring back Emma Goldman and a group of bank-robbers, assassins and revolutionaries; Bobby Ford, the man who killed Jesse James will be one of them. The Imam will recruit from ISIS and al-Qaeda. The only thing that stands between them and success is a ten-year-girl and her cat, the preteen version of Asma bint Marwan, murdered on orders from the Prophet in the 7th Century and Ingrate, a white Angora cat that appears to be indestructible.
The Imam intends to convert bin Marwan to Islam and then kill her. But Wilkes Booth and the outlaws and the assassins don’t get along with the terrorists. The Necromancer and the Imam quarrel over the girl. Private detective Bernard Piffy, the girl’s guardian, get’s involved. He is in love with the adult version of bint Marwa. He loads his Glock…he will play hide and seek with the devil and the crocodiles in the swamps of the Delta.

Once upon a time I was a little boy. I am no longer a little boy, except maybe mentally. I was a platoon sergeant in the Army before I went to college. Usually it’s the other way around. I got a degree in History from Michigan State University before anybody ever knew I was there. I wasn’t much good for anything except writing and once I really got started I couldn’t stop. I’ve written about a thousand Internet articles for such websites as Islam Watch, Faith-Freedom International, the Iconoclast, Campus Watch, etc, etc. The books have been coming in a torrent. History is woven into everything I write.
